The project "Up to start" - project co-financed from the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 3 "Jobs for All", Operation 3.7 "Increasing employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban area", POCU / 82/3/7/105479 - has been running for 36 months starting with January 15, 2018, in partnership Adventist Agency for Development, Rehabilitation and Help - ADRA Romania (Beneficiary) with Zamolxes Foundation, DOMINOU Association and Center Association CRUM Human Resources Metropolitan.

"For ADRA Romania, the" Up to Start "project in the South-East Region makes the transition from assistance interventions to the disadvantaged social categories towards the economic development and human resource utilization, thus becoming part of the European Employment Strategy in The Young Row. Economic development is one of the directions of action of ADRA Romania. The experience of previous projects in the field of economic development will be exploited through the 3rd project funded by European funds, which not only provides punctual aid but also forms young people to bring about a significant change in society, by implementing entrepreneurial initiatives and creating new jobs"said Robert Georgescu, Executive Director of ADRA Romania.

"Getting the funding for these two projects in the field of entrepreneurship development,"Start to Entrepreneurship"and" Up to Start" in the two regions of the country, namely South West and South East, represents a new important step for ADRA Romania. Given the fact that the organization has already strengthened the humanitarian support segment, the imminent contribution to the economic development of society has emerged in recent years through new tools. This was the context in which opportunities had begun to be capitalized in order to obtain funding for development projects. After more than a year of work and wait, the results were not delayed, so today we are at the start of two projects with a consistent budget and an impact on investment. Through them, we will contribute to increasing the employment level and improving the economic segment in Romania. It is an important role that ADRA Romania will have to play so as to respond to a society with different needs and problems. I can only express my delight in the fact that through the work of the team in 2017 we have achieved such good results: European non-reimbursable EUR millions, a unique performance in the history of ADRA Romania"declared Valentina Sturzu - Cozorci, ADRA Project Manager Romania.
