Create a culture of giving, of sustainability, of social action within religious organizations; develop professional activities of fundraising that will transform it from an instrument to a process that can involve the organizational dimension and enable the development of those same organizations. These are the goals of the first-level Professional Master’s Program in Fundraising, Communication and Management for clerical and religious organizations, a program organized by the Adventist Institute for Biblical Culture (IACB) “Villa Aurora”, of Florence, in collaboration with Romboli Studio (master.religiousfundraising.it).
The learning modules have already begun and will end in September 2018.
As the director of IACB, Filippo Alma, affirmed, “This new training program will be an extra opportunity to truly demonstrate how deeply we care about the mission of the Gospel, shown by our welcome, our service, our example, and our smile.”
“We welcome new students,” he continued, “as we would like to be welcomed, making them feel like part of our big family, using expressions and words that they may ‘glorify our Father in heaven’ (Matt. 5:16).”
As the first and only one in the Italian context, the goal of the Master’s program is to train managers of sustainability capable of fundraising in third sector organizations. It will avail itself of the best professors and professionals, including Roger Bergonzoli, voted Best Italian Fundraiser for the year; they will all contribute their knowledge, providing not only theory, but best of all, professional practice.
