Adventist 'Waldfriede' Hospital is one of the most recommended clinics in Berlin

The hospital, which is run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has been recognized several times as the best clinic in the country.

According to a recent survey by the newspaper 'Tagesspiegel', Waldfriede Hospital is one of the most recommended clinics in Berlin. Both the gynecology department and the breast cancer centre were awarded. The hospital, which is run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has been recognized several times as the best clinic in the country. 

Since 2005, 'Der Tagesspiegel', Berlin's highest-circulating daily newspaper, has been asking doctors in the capital every two years which clinics are best to refer their patients to. The results of the latest survey have now been published. The current issue of the Tagesspiegel Clinic Magazine contains the detailed results of the latest medical surveys, articles by excellent chief physicians regarding medical therapies for more than 60 diseases, information about healthy meals, clinical hygiene and much more.

As reported by the Tagesspiegel, it is striking that some clinics in specialized area were recommended most frequently for all queried diseases. In the areas of benign and malignant tumors in gynecology diseases, the department of gynecology at Waldfriede Hospital is one of the most recommended clinics under the direction of chief, Dr. Florian Müller,. 

Waldfriede Hospital Breast Cancer Centre, headed by chief physician Dr. Barbara Brückner is highly recognized and is the most recommended for her patients for this type of cancer by resident doctors.

Hospital director Bernd Quoß is delighted to receive the new award and is proud of his employees, who can be found among the 100 best doctors in Germany. "In the last three years we have also been among the TOP regional hospitals in Germany compared with other large hospitals."

The health network of Waldfriede Hospital has now become the most diverse medical and care provider in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. In addition to the Waldfriede Hospital, there are: the Social Centre and the PrimaVita Health Centre with the accompanying swimming pool, the Academy for Health and Nursing, the Nikolassee private Clinic, the Waldfriede hospital service company, the Desert Flower Centre, the Waldfriede Senior Home, an outpatient day clinic and in the future will be part of the Medical Care Centre (MVZ) for better outpatient care to add to the network. This makes the "Waldfriede Network" one of the largest employers in the district. The sponsor is the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. The hospital will celebrate its 100th anniversary in April next year.
