25th Anniversary of HopeMedia Spain

Revista Adventista

On Sabbath, September 20, 2025, HopeMedia Spain proudly celebrated its 25th anniversary in a heartfelt ceremony at its newly renovated facilities within the Adventist Campus of Sagunto. This significant occasion brought together over 200 attendees, all united in a spirit of gratitude, recognition, and a renewed vision for the audiovisual ministry of the Adventist Church in Spain.

A Glimpse into History

The event commenced with a vibrant welcome and an opening prayer, inviting everyone to place God at the center of the celebration. Pastor Samuel Gil, the former Communications Director of the UAE and newly appointed Associate Communications Director of the General Conference, took attendees on a journey through the history of the former CPM (Center for Multimedia Productions). He honored the founders, past directors, and the countless volunteers, technicians, musicians, and creatives whose unwavering contributions have fueled the institution’s growth over the years.

Acknowledgments and Presentation of New Facilities

Pastor Gil extended his heartfelt thanks to national and international leaders who traveled to attend the celebration, including Rubén Abreu (Executive Secretary) and Paulo Macedo (Communications and PARL Director) from the Inter-European Division, Alyssa Truman, the Communications Director of the General Conference, and representatives from HopeMedia Europe and Speranza TV in Romania. He also recognized leaders from the Spanish Adventist Union, various Adventist institutions in Spain, and long-time partners from Jaume I University.

During the ceremony, Pastor Gil unveiled the results of the extensive expansion and renovation project, which had required months of dedication and hard work. He acknowledged the efforts of the professional team responsible for bringing this vision to life, with support from the Sagunto Town Hall, the Finance Committee, and the administration of the Spanish Adventist Union. As Pastor Gil eloquently stated, “The foundations of these new offices are not made of cement; they are built on people united in Spirit and in Truth.”

Over the past 25 years, HopeMedia has thrived due to the passion, enthusiasm, and professionalism of all those who have contributed to its mission. Yet, there remains much more to achieve in fulfilling the calling to reach all nations, tribes, languages, and peoples with the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20).

HopeMedia’s Expansion

HopeMedia encompasses much more than its website, HopeMedia.es, or its array of YouTube channels, which include general, children’s, and music content. It is also accessible on various platforms, such as Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, LG, Samsung, YouTube, Spotify, Ivoox, and numerous other social media and podcast platforms.

Some of its content has even crossed borders, reaching international audiences through partnerships with NUEVO TIEMPO, Feliz7Play, ACES, HOPE GROUP UKRAINE, and ESPERANZA TV, thus covering a significant part of the Americas. HopeMedia also supplies content to non-Adventist platforms, including YOJMA TV, BETHEL TV, FAITH CAST, and KANAL 10. Additionally, the "Audiovisual Ambassador" project has been implemented, distributing content through contracts with secular media outlets like Comarcal TV, Grupo Cadena Media, and Bocairent. This initiative is currently in a pilot phase within the Valencian Community and is set to expand throughout Spain.

Furthermore, the HopeMedia Academy training program has empowered hundreds to enhance their professional skills, particularly within the church.

Vision for the Future

One of the most eagerly anticipated moments of the celebration was the presentation of HopeMedia’s vision for the future, led by Pastors Samuel Gil and Gabriel Begle. Among the exciting projects highlighted was the upcoming filming of the producer's first feature film, "Resurgentes: bajo la sombra," scheduled for later this year, between October and December, aimed at connecting with new generations through a fresh narrative style.

Additionally, a new program was announced, offering 10 scholarships for young audiovisual creatives—six national and four international. This initiative will provide financial support, mentorship, and exposure on HopeMedia’s official channels.

The celebration concluded with the unveiling of a monolith symbolizing HopeMedia's mission, strategically placed at the entrance of the production facility. This serves as a powerful reminder of the call to evangelistic mission through the media.

After 25 years of impactful history, HopeMedia Spain reaffirms its commitment to producing relevant and biblical content, with a clear purpose: to serve as a bridge for thousands to personally encounter Jesus.
