The project "Aktion Kinder helfen Kindern!" (Children help Children), of the Adventist Development and Disaster Relief Agency (ADRA) in Germany, took place for the second year during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the process, 29,709 packages were sent from Germany to Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Lithuania, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, and Serbia shortly before Christmas, where they brought joy to needy children.

2,700 more parcels than in 2020

420 action groups throughout Germany collected, packed and sent parcels. "All our thanks go to them and their hard-working helpers. With their commitment, they give hope and confidence," said Michael Weller, project manager of "Aktion Kinder helfen Kindern". The 29,709 parcels sent are an increase of over 2,700 parcels compared to the previous year, after 35,513 parcels in 2019 - before the pandemic.

"We have managed to reach almost all target countries again this year, despite the Coronavirus measures. We are happy about every parcel, because every parcel stands for a child's smile," concluded Michael Weller. Further information is available here.
