19 volunteers in 13 vans transported the aid. ADRA donated food, hygiene products, clothing and footwear, books, and first aid products to the Ukrainian refugees in the centres of Mykolaiv and other areas of Ukraine. According to local authorities, the population’s needs in the Southern Ukraine region are multiple, so any help received is welcome and necessary.

“War is a horror. But sometimes, it has to happen so that you and I can become more sensitive and be with those affected. Ukrainians still need our help. There is room for each of us”, said Daniel Tecu, president of FADERE – Federation of Romanian Associations in Europe, one of the funders of the convoy.

Donation for humanitarian purposes of more than 30 tons of products was possible with funding from the olVIDAdos Association, FADERE, and the IAN Firm. The activity was coordinated with ADRA Ukraine and the Seventh-day Adventist Church – Southern Conference of Ukraine based in Mykolaiv.

“We welcome the humanitarian transport from ADRA Romania and use it to support refugees and those who have suffered due to the actions of war. We express our sincere gratitude for the selfless service and humanitarian assistance provided by ADRA Romania. Today was not an easy day, but the ADRA Romania team managed to provide food, clothes and medicine to needy people. Thank you for your support and prayers for us. May God bless you in your service to God and people!” said Dimitri Popravkin, President of the Southern Ukraine Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
