Donations for children in Cambodia and Romania

According to the school administration, this year's donations will go to an orphanage with a school in Cambodia. Construction and maintenance work has been carried out with financial and active roles of Marienhöhe School Centre. Every year, a group of pupils and teachers travel to Cambodia for three weeks during the winter holidays to help with renovations on site.

This time, additional funds are to be made available for a photovoltaic system to replace the diesel generator. The project idea came from the students of the Marienhöhe Energy Agency (EMH). The school administration announced that this voluntary and honorary student corporation, plans and implements energy-saving projects for the Marienhöhe school centre.

A third project is to help gypsy children in a small village in Romania get a better education and thus open up better prospects for their lives.
