At the autumn meeting of the Board of Trustees of Friedensau Adventist University (FAU), Tobias H. Koch, Ass. Friedensau has achieved great things during this time with teamwork and in close co-operation with the SDA Church. Special thanks are due in particular to Rector Prof Dr Roland Fischer and all the staff who have worked hard to achieve this."Over the next five years, the Chancellor's main priority will be the structural development of the campus. In addition to modernising the energy infrastructure, a new canteen and, thanks to funding from the "Young Living" programme, a new student hall of residence for the increasing number of students are also on the project list.Tobias H. Koch (48) is a lawyer and has been Chancellor of the university and Managing Director of Friedensau Institutions since 2014. From 2011 to 2014, he taught full-time at the FAU as a lecturer in the law of social work at the School of Social Sciences. He has worked and continues to work as a legal counsellor at various institutions of the SDA Church. Tobias Koch is involved in the church and the community in many different ways; he is a member of the local council and is head of the local volunteer fire brigade.
