From March 7 to 9, 2025, Adventus University in Cernica, Romania, hosted the event “Ellen White, Prophetic Life and Ministry,” organized by the Spirit of Prophecy Department of the Inter-European Division in collaboration with the Romanian Union and Adventus University.

Keynote speakers Dr. Merlin Burt and Dr. Theodore Levterov, representatives of the White Estate, offered insights into the biblical perspective on God's enduring desire to communicate with humanity—a relationship consistently expressed through the prophetic gift.

A significant highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Romanian translation of the book “Understanding Ellen White,” published by Adventus University Press. Coordinated by Professor Norel Iacob, director of the publishing house, this work aims to deepen the understanding of Ellen White’s crucial role in shaping the history and theology of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Additionally, the event marked the inauguration of the E.G. White Research Center, which, under the leadership of Professor Adrian Petre, will serve as a vital hub for the study of Ellen White’s life, writings, and prophetic mission.

The gathering was attended by esteemed guests, including Barna Magyarosi, Executive Secretary of the Inter-European Division, and Aurel Neațu, President of the Romanian Adventist Union, along with pastors, church leaders, students, and faculty members of Adventus University.

This event provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on Ellen White’s writings and the profound influence of her prophetic calling on the global Adventist movement, reaffirming the relevance and divine inspiration of her message for today's world.
