A surge of interest in universal themes marked the "Hope Is Alive" lecture series, organized by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in collaboration with the Maranatha organization. The event, held at the Prague Congress Center from November 7 to 15, offered nine evenings focused on practical advice for a healthy lifestyle and spiritual inspiration. The initiative was led by the internationally recognized speakers, Mark and Ernestine Finley.

Significant Participation Data

The public response was notable. Organizers recorded 750 unique reservations, with hundreds more visitors attending without prior registration. Each evening, approximately 300–400 people gathered in the main hall, while simultaneous streams in several cities expanded the reach from dozens to hundreds of additional regional participants.

During the nine evenings, approximately 8,500 books were distributed, including 1,200 copies of the publication Hope Is Alive by Mark Finley.

Peter Čík, president of the Czech-Slovak Union of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, commented: "The strong attendance and personal conversations after the program confirm that people are looking for a space where they can discuss their questions, hopes, and concerns."

Follow-up and Digital Content

The project extends beyond the final evening. On the official website, it is possible to register for updates on the follow-up programs prepared by local Adventist Church congregations. These activities include Bible study, thematic lectures, discussion meetings, and community initiatives aimed at helping participants to continue engaging with the topics of interest.

Recordings of the lectures will be gradually released every Friday and Saturday, starting from November 28 until December 26, making the content accessible to those who were unable to attend in person.
