From August 28 to 31, 2026, Women’s Ministries leaders from the Inter-European Division (EUD) territory convened for an advisory meeting in Collonges-sous-Salève, France. Chaired by EUD Women’s Ministries Director Dagmar Dorn, the gathering included General Conference Women’s Ministries Director Dr. Galina Stele and 16 regional leaders representing all EUD-affiliated countries, including Ukraine. The agenda focused on evaluating the previous term, reviewing strategic priorities, and establishing objectives for the upcoming four-year period.
Strategic Framework and Program Highlights
Strategic Planning: EUD Executive Secretary Pastor Ruben de Abreu presented the strategic plan for the new quinquennium, themed "I will go, I will seek your good." The framework centers on communion, identity, belonging, and mission.
Leadership Development: A newly adapted leadership training program tailored for German-speaking countries was introduced to equip local congregations with practical ministry and leadership skills.
Regional Initiatives: Reports highlighted creative ministry approaches across the division, notably the Bulgarian project Her Story, which aligns with the global onevoice27 and All Things New initiatives to engage audiences via social media.
Safety and Advocacy: The global enditnow initiative was reinforced as a central priority, emphasizing prevention, active response to violence, and the creation of safe church environments. Spain presented a dedicated platform designed to raise awareness and provide congregations with tools to address harmful dynamics.
Field Reports and Institutional Engagement
Regional leaders shared updates, successes, and challenges from their respective fields, fostering mutual support and collaboration. Dr. Galina Stele provided a global perspective on the world church, offering additional encouragement to the attendees.

Adventist History Museum: Located on the campus of the Adventist University of Collonges, the exhibition highlighted the historical contributions of women to European Adventism.
La Lignière Clinic: A visit to the facility in neighboring Switzerland underscored the denomination's longstanding commitment to holistic health, lifestyle, and well-being.
The advisory concluded with devotional programming, including a Sabbath service featuring the Lord’s Supper and foot washing, reinforcing the division's ongoing commitment to ministry, outreach, and leadership development.
