Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) has been recognized among America's Best Specialized Hospitals 2024 for cardiology, neurological care, and orthopedics by Newsweek in partnership with Statista. Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) was also recognized among America’s Best Children’s Hospitals 2024 for neonatology.

The recognitions are based on a national survey of healthcare providers and managers, key performance indicators, patient experience surveys, and Statista patient-reported outcomes.

“These recognitions underscore our expertise and compassionate care found throughout each specialty team,” said Trevor Wright, MHA, FACHE, CEO of Loma Linda University Health Hospitals. “Patients can be assured they are receiving the best possible care right here in their home region,” he added.

LLUH provides specialized care for a vast area across four counties, comprising approximately one-fourth of the state of California.

LLUH’s cardiac care is the most advanced in the region, with its state-of-the-art care facility and multidisciplinary teams of experts. Its neurological care includes an epilepsy center, memory center, stroke center, and advanced neuromuscular care. LLUH’s orthopaedic care includes sports medicine, joint replacement, and spinal care.

The 84-bed Level 4 NICU at LLUCH treats newborns who need the most complex care, including tiny babies born weighing less than 2.2 pounds. In addition to neonatologists, NICU babies are supported by an entire team of specialists throughout the hospital and the San Manuel Maternity Pavilion.
