As we are approaching 2013, in the midst of a worldwide political, financial, social, cultural and religious crisis, and as we are all experiencing times of suffering and pain, let me take this opportunity to address the Inter-European Adventist community with a short message of hope and serenity.
God has promised that we are in His saving hands. He is in control, despite all the suffering. Our heavenly Father is watching over us with love and affection, choosing the right time on His heavenly time-clock to send His beloved Son Jesus Christ back to earth. This is a time to leave everything in His mighty hands, ceasing our conflicts, violence and accusations. God alone has the sword of justice and the right to judge. Let us all recognize His divine wisdom and join together as one people, one loving worldwide family. Let our hearts and minds be guided by the divine parameters, the gifts of the Spirit, which are love, kindness, respect, self-control, peace, patience, faithfulness, joy and dignity.
Brothers and sisters, let us follow our supreme Guide, Jesus Christ, and learn from His divine character. As a result, we will emerge as spiritual leaders in this suffering world, bringing hope and grace to a disoriented generation.
