After ten years at the head of Clinique La Lignière in Gland (VD), Nicolas Walther has decided to leave his position for a new direction in his professional life. The Board of Directors thanks him for his important contribution to the legal and organizational restructuring of La Lignière and its institutions, all of which are in good financial health and have an excellent reputation in the regional health network.

Nicolas Walther (48) holds a master's degree in literature from the University of Geneva and began his career in human resources at the Banque Cantonale de Fribourg. He was then appointed Director of EMS Le Flon in Oron-la-Ville. After four years, he left this position to become general manager of Clinique La Lignière in Gland (VD). Now, he wants to undertake a personal training project that has been close to his heart for many years.

"We have taken note, with regret, of Nicolas Walther's decision to leave Clinique La Lignière and its sister entities after 10 years of activity, while understanding his motivations and encouraging him in his training project," commented Mario Brito, Chairman of the Board of Directors. “We would like to express our sincere thanks to him for his extensive commitment. We are grateful to him for accompanying the appointment process and ensuring a smooth transition with the new Director General, woman or man. To this end, a selection committee has been set up, of which Nicolas Walther is an invited member. It is expected that he will remain Chief Executive Officer until his successor takes office.”

A key player in the regional health network, La Lignière has undergone an organisational and legal restructuring, under the direction of Nicolas Walther. This change has led to the creation of new legal entities for better functioning and increased transparency of its various activities: Clinique La Lignière SA, Centre Médical & Thérapeutique La Lignière SA - an ambulatory centre inaugurated in 2017 and active since May 2018 - and the recently created Centre de Santé La Lignière SA.
