After some years of preparation by the Health Ministries Team of the Inter-European Region of the Seventh-day Adventists (EUD) - with feedbacks from the fields and the contribution of several medical professionals - the “WeCare” Initiative is finally born.
Valérie Dufour explains the reasons for organizing this initiative. To the question: why WeCare? she answers:
"Because Europe, as the rest of the world, has been shaken by the current pandemic and mitigation measures
Because this crisis has increased the levels of psychological distress and social isolation of individuals
Because we are living in a rapidly changing environment that is destabilizing for many
Because people need today what they have always needed: a manifestation of God’s love and care.”
