Easter weekend 2024 was a particularly awaited moment for the IMPACT youth congress, a special event for the Adventist Youth of the French & Italian Swiss Federation (FSRT) and for the Franco-Belgian Union.

Like every two years, the youth gathered in Montluçon, in the heart of France, to share a few days together and experience unique moments. After the impressive number of 800 participants at IMPACT 2022, this year, the organizing committee had to look for new spaces to welcome the 1,400 young people registered.

Pastor Léo Lopez, special guest of this congress, shared daily reflections encouraging the participants to look beyond, ‘allowing our Lord to become our mirror in our relationship with ourselves and our filter in interactions with others, recognizing the presence of His Spirit at one’s side every day, and always reminding us that, with Jesus, everything is possible’.

Workshops, conferences, worship, sports, along with a concert and an evening of games between the various areas, all enlivened the weekend.

“Yes, it sounds like an enriching experience,” affirmed Noelia Burgos, youth leader for the Swiss Adventist Youth, “[and] the good news is… IMPACT will return in 2026 and we will return more motivated (and more numerous) than ever. If you didn't have the chance to participate this year, don't miss the next opportunity,” concluded Burgos.

More about Impact

The IMPACT youth program goals are to help Adventist youth serve the community, educate themselves, make new friends and bonds, and experience unique moments of praise and worship.

Young participants have a practical “IMPACT” within their local communities; they will feel encouraged to return to their local reality, ready to have an “IMPACT” on others, always serving in the name of Jesus.

This program is open to all young people, aged 18 to 30, who wish to participate in evangelistic moments, workshops, and praise and worship programs, and who wish to have an “IMPACT” in the name of Jesus all throughout the world.
