The Adventist TV station ‘Hope TV’ will be available throughout Germany on Vodafone's cable network from March 3, 2021. Hope TV thus expands availability, via cable in Germany, to 7.2 million households.

Hope TV and Cable TV Vodafone

On February 17, with the approval of the supervisory board of Hope Media Europe, the contract for the inclusion of Hope TV into the cable network of Vodafone was signed. Thus, according to a press release from the media center, starting from March 3, Hope TV is to be received throughout the entire cable network coverage of Vodafone in Germany. This would allow approximately another 14.5 million people to watch Hope TV on television. Hope TV plans to celebrate this event with a live blessing service on March 20 at 10:30 am.

Now on the air, nationwide, on cable

"We are delighted that we can now reach even more people in Germany via Vodafone's cable network. Hope TV offers a wide-ranging TV program with hopeful faith and life topics," says Klaus Popa, Chairman of the Board of Hope Media Europe e.V., at the signing of the contract. Project manager Marc Naumann adds: "Hope TV can now be received throughout Germany via satellite, Internet and the Vodafone cable network. Loyal supporters and sponsors are the backbone for the reception of Hope TV. Together, we want to spread hope and bring Jesus into every home.

In addition to Vodafone's cable network and some other regional cable networks, Hope TV can also be received via satellite (Astra) and IPTV (freenet TV connect),” he said. Via its website
www.hopetv.de, the TV station also offers a livestream service and an extensive media library.

Hope TV – Background

Hope TV has been broadcasting German-language programs since 2004. In 2007, the station moved into its own television studios in the newly-built media center in Alsbach-Hähnlein near Darmstadt. In January 2009, the Hessische Landesanstalt für privaten Rundfunk und neue Medien granted the license for a 24-hour channel. For the 10th anniversary, the name of the TV station was changed from Hope Channel Germany to Hope TV. Hope TV is part of the international Hope Channel family of stations, which was founded in the USA in 2003 and now consists of 61 national stations.
