From the summer of 2023, there will be the possibility to acquire a "Master of Arts in Education" at the Adventist Seminary Schloss Bogenhofen in St. Peter am Hart (Upper Austria) on a part-time or full-time basis.

Since 2017, there has been a "Bachelor of Education" degree program at Bogenhofen Seminary, which is offered in cooperation with the Adventist Middle East University (Beirut/Lebanon). Now this cooperation will be extended to a three-semester m-aster's program.

Beginning in the summer of 2023, students will be able to take courses in Bogenhofen in two summers, each during the vacation period. During the academic year, seminars will be offered that can also be attended online, as the program is aimed at people who are already in the teaching profession. The writing of a master's thesis is planned for the second year.

Faculty members come from the Middle East University, where Adventist educators from various countries teach, as well as from German-speaking countries.

The bachelor's and master’s programs are internationally recognized and can be nostrified (recognized) together in Austria to be equivalent to the Austrian "Bachelor" or "Master of Education - Primary" and to be counted as an EU diploma.

Further information about the program can be requested by e-mail from the head of the School of Education, Mag. Yvonne Seidel: education@bogenhofen.at.

Seminar Bogenhofen

Bogenhofen Seminary was founded in 1949 by the Austrian and German-Swiss Seventh-day Adventist churches and is located in Upper Austria, near the German border. It serves as a training center for prospective pastors (Theological Seminary), elementary school teachers (School of Education), and high school graduates (Abitur - upper secondary school, state-approved). A language school serves for the acquisition of the German language. About 140 pupils and students attend the seminary.
