Digital Evangelism: The Northern France Conference Explores Easter Week

FFN

The Northern France Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Churches (FFN) recently concluded its second digital evangelistic campaign of 2025. From April 12 to 20, a special online series, entitled "The 7 Days That Changed Everything", was featured, focusing on the events of Easter Week.

A Collaborative Online Initiative

This initiative was led by the FFN in collaboration with the Maison de l'Espérance Digital Evangelism Center and EdenChurch. Pastor Emile Lazar was the keynote speaker for this series, which was broadcast live every evening, at 8 p.m., on the Monespérance.fr website and the FFN Adventist YouTube channel. This was the second such event organized by the Conference this year, highlighting the growing importance of digital tools in its evangelistic activities.

Nine Evenings to Revisit the Passion

The program took place over nine consecutive evenings, each exploring a specific aspect of the final days of Jesus Christ's life. The series began on Saturday, April 12, with "The Two Miraculous Survivors of Jericho" and concluded on Sunday, April 20, with "The Testament of the Risen One." Between these two evenings, the presentations addressed themes such as: the triumphant entry into Jerusalem ("The Astonishing Triumph of Jesus"), specific teachings ("The Parable of the Most Generous Master"), the Last Supper ("The Supper of Scandal," "At Jesus' Table, the Impossible Invitation"), the crucifixion ("Who Killed Jesus?"), and the Sabbath ("The Redeemer's Rest"), as well as an episode focused on hope ("The Sign of Hope").

Exploring the Historical and Spiritual Meaning of Easter

According to information provided ahead of the event, the objective of this series was to offer participants an "immersion" into the significant events of Jesus' final week, providing "historical and spiritual insight." The approach sought to examine what happened during this crucial period and why it is considered to have changed human history. The series also highlighted the contemporary relevance of these events, addressing universal themes such as betrayal, injustice, and suffering, as well as love, hope, and ultimate victory, manifested through the Easter narrative.

Conclusion of a Thematic Week

This week of digital evangelism concluded on Easter Sunday. It represents an example of the Northern Conference's ongoing efforts to use online platforms to share the biblical message and engage in dialogue on central themes of the Christian faith with a wide audience.
